Penny and Melody
About Us
We have known each other for what seems like forever. We were introduced when Penny needed a website and Melody could develop one. We became instant friends and have seen each other through many celebrations and traumas over the years.
We live in Cape Town, South Africa; Penny with her husband and two dogs and Melody with her cat. When we’re not discussing the next exciting Course for People over fish cakes at our favourite coffee shop, you’ll probably find us indulging in some feral knitting.
We have a passion for learning and are both involved in the field of education. We know so many inspiring people who have so much to offer, that we decided to create Courses for People to share their knowledge.
Our courses are carefully selected and hand-crafted specifically for people. So if you’re a person, we’re sure you will enjoy taking them as much as we’ve enjoyed making them.

More about Melody Kerchhoff
Web developer / Teacher
Melody lives on the internet and believes it saved her life.
When she’s not online, she reads, writes, cooks, walks and dabbles in various creative pursuits. She also loves puzzles, games, animals, photography and chocolate (in no particular order).
She has been coding since time began and knitting since before it was cool. She can go on and on about nutrition and alternate therapies. Don’t get her started! She is useless at relationships, but knows what definitely doesn’t work.
She has been a teacher, a coporate drone and an entrepeneur. She has been self-employed as a web developer for the past 20 years.
Melody Kerchhoff is the ultimate survivor and has overcome many hurdles. She can help you do the same. She prefers to see life as a game and she makes up her own rules.
More about Penny Louw
Digital Marketer / Lab Technician
Penny Louw has had a wonderfully varied working life.
She started out as a Metallurgist, after her dream of being a mathematician didn’t pan out. Working both in industry and in academia as a lab technician in Metallurgy were rewarding but different experiences.
Ten years as a hands-on mother count as the toughest but favourite part of her working life. She had a twelve year span owning a brain training business. She learnt a totally different way of looking at people and technology.
This gave her a deep understanding of the value of stress management and finding a way to live deliberatly.
She was then inspired to launch her online portal. The goal? Helping people gain skills that enhance their life experience.
